Campina Romania The Getic Depression constitutes the Tertiary foredeep that developed to the south of the Southern Carpathians and lies between Dambovita Valley to the est and the Danube to the west being bordered to the south by the Moesian Platform through the Pericarpathian fault. The Getic Depression evolved as a sedimentary basin from the Paleogene till the end of the Pliocene. Journal
